For the eighth year in a row, the African Well Fund is pleased to announce plans for a fundraising drive to " Build a Well for Bono's Birthday". AWF is celebrating Bono's 50th Birthday by raising funds to support a $50,000 water project in Zimbabwe.

For 50 days from March 22nd through May 10th, the African Well Fund invites U2 fans and others who are inspired by Bono's tireless activism on behalf of Africa to make a donation in honor of Bono's birthday on May 10th. Your donation in any amount will go a long way in helping to provide clean water for the people of Africa.

Donations from the seven previous campaigns totaled over $170,000 and have been used by our partner Africare to fund well projects benefiting more than 28,000 people in Uganda, Ethiopia, Angola, Liberia and Zimbabwe. This year's campaign will go to benefit a Buhera Integrated Community Water Project in Zimbabwe. Please read the project proposal here.

Limited Edition Bono Prints by Azalea Millet

Artist Azalea Millet has generously donated signed and numbered prints of her original artwork featuring Bono. Supplies are limited!


Limited Edition signed and numbered. Numbers 6 through 100 available. The prints are a reproduction of the original gouache painting of Bono holding an African child from a trip to Ghana in 2002. They are on white medium glossy paper, 11x17 with a white border around it. The painting includes the Bono Street Team name along with a quote of Bono's, "This is our moment ... to Stand Up for what is right."
