The African Well Fund is offering several ideas this year for the people on your gift lists. Sales of all gift items will fund AWF water projects in 2009.

Several AWF T-shirts are available for $12 each. The gray logo T-shirt is available in adult sizes M and XXL, and kid size 6. The white "Where You Live" T-shirt is available in adult sizes M, L and XL. The Black "Do Something" T-shirt is available in adult sizes S and M. The pink logo baby-T is available in adult sizes S, M, L and XL. Quantities are limited on all the shirts so please list a first and second choice with your orders.

AWF Well Shares are also available in any denomination. Supporters who purchase more than $50 in shares can request a free AWF T-shirt. Supporters who purchase more than $100 in shares can request a free Smashbox Cosmetics gift bag. See makeup set details below. While the AWF’s mission is to provide access to clean water, we recognize the link between the need for healthy water and fighting the HIV virus. AIDS patients suffer from weakened immune systems, which makes them more at risk for contracting water-borne diseases and infections.

The African Well Fund would like to join the many and varied organizations throughout the world who are commemorating World AIDS day on Dec. 1st. The African Well Fund will conduct our fifth annual virtual candlelight vigil. Please light a virtual candle and leave a message in honor of the many people affected by AIDS.

World AIDS Day celebrates the progress made against the epidemic as well as focusing on the challenges that remain, and of course, honoring our fallen brothers and sisters.
