African Well Fund is thrilled to have some preliminary film footage available from our recent trip to Africa. Two of our board members traveled to Uganda in September to visit the communities where some of our wells were built. We are happy to be able to share a first hand look at these wells with our many supporters!

Please stop by and watch and see the difference that your support has made in these communities.

To learn more about AWF's trip to Africa, read Devlin Smith's interview with board members Rob Trigalet and Angela Martens as they reflect on their experiences as well as their trip blog that chronicles the journey as they experienced it.

And remember, our work continues. To help us reach even more people, please consider making a donation today. Your gift will allow us to continue making a significant difference in the lives of so many people!

This holiday season, African Well Fund provides a number of opportunities to help provide clean water for the people of Africa while you shop.

Give Well Shares. Looking for an alternative gift for your friends, familiy, or co-workers? AWF has a variety of Well Shares available in any denomination.

Purchase AWF Merchandise. Along with our classic t-shirts, AWF has several other products for sale at our CafePress shop, including our brand new 2007 African Well Fund calendars. These calendars contain photos of AWF funded wells in Uganda.

While the AWF’s mission is to provide access to clean water, we recognize the link between the need for healthy water and fighting the HIV virus. AIDS patients suffer from weakened immune systems, which makes them more at risk for contracting water-borne diseases and infections.

The African Well Fund would like to join the many and varied organizations throughout the world who are commemorating World AIDS day on Dec. 1st. The African Well Fund will conduct our fourth annual virtual candlelight vigil. Please light a virtual candle and leave a message in honor of the many people affected by AIDS.

World AIDS Day celebrates the progress made against the epidemic as well as focusing on the challenges that remain, and of course, honoring our fallen brothers and sisters.

To light a virtual candle please visit http://www.africanwellfund.org/candle.html

African Well Fund will be participating in the Ontario, CA area's Our Lady of Assumption’s “Alternative Gift Fair” this Sunday, Nov 19th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4pm to 7pm at 435 Berkley Ave, Claremont, CA.
